Estate administration
Probate addresses assets administered through a deceased person’s estate. We assist personal representatives with formal administration, including court filings, notices, creditor matters, asset administration, and distributions within the agreed scope of representation. The appropriate procedure depends on the assets and circumstances.
Trust administration
After a settlor’s death, a successor trustee may need to identify and protect trust assets, notify and account to beneficiaries, address expenses and tax obligations, and distribute property. We advise trustees on their duties and coordinate estate and trust administration when both are needed.
Understand the fees
Florida law provides presumed reasonable attorney-fee schedules for ordinary services. These fees are negotiable. Extraordinary services and costs are additional under the written engagement agreement.
